I had an enjoyable stay at Aloft Charlotte City Center, thanks to its great location and friendly staff. However, I found some drawbacks that made my experience feel less than luxurious. The noise levels were quite bothersome, and the room amenities could use some improvements.

Rooms
6.0
While the room was clean and spacious, I encountered issues like thin carpeting over cement floors and annoying noise from the hallways. The absence of USB outlets and some furniture quirks made it feel a bit off.
Service
8.0
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made my check-in smooth, although I did have to ask for more toilet paper after my initial roll ran out.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore bars and restaurants. However, the street noise from nearby venues was quite loud at night, which was a downside.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were very limited, with mostly small items for sale in the lobby. I didn't find the dining offerings particularly satisfying.
Facilities
6.0
The gym was decent with enough equipment, but I missed having a microwave in my room. Thankfully, services like dry cleaning were available if needed.

My stay at the Aloft Charlotte City Center had some highlights, especially the location and the modern amenities. However, I struggled with noise issues from nearby bars during my visit, which impacted my rest. Overall, while I enjoyed the vibrant city atmosphere, I'd recommend asking for a quieter room if you value peace at night.

I recently stayed at Aloft Charlotte City Center, and while the location was fantastic, I experienced a few hiccups during my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean with a comfortable bed, but I did notice that the hallways were somewhat dirty, and my room initially had a strange smell. Additionally, the noise from a bar nearby made it hard to relax in the evening. Overall, I believe some aspects could use improvement, perhaps management just needs to tighten quality control.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was clean and had a very comfortable bed, but I had issues with a strange odor. Fortunately, the staff was accommodating and seemed eager to help.
Service
9.0
The service I received was very friendly and professional, particularly when I needed assistance with my reservation. They were prompt in addressing my concerns.
Location
10.0
The location was perfect, right in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance, which made it very convenient for exploring.
Dining
8.0
I didn't experience dining at the hotel, but I appreciated the array of nearby options that made eating out very accessible.
Facilities

The facilities were decent; however, navigating the parking garage was a bit of a challenge due to its compact size. It took me a moment to figure out the entrance, but it was manageable.

7.0/10

My stay at Aloft Charlotte City Center was quite disappointing. While the location is excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants and the convention center, the service left much to be desired. I encountered several issues, from unprofessional staff to cleanliness problems, which overshadowed the positive aspects of the hotel experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had a noticeable smell and felt unclean. Despite the modern design, it didn't meet my expectations for a boutique hotel. Sound insulation was poor, causing disturbances during the night from neighboring rooms.
Service
5.0
The front desk service was impolite and unhelpful. There were issues during check-in, and when I inquired about dining options, the staff were dismissive and unprofessional. Their lack of empathy and inability to address my concerns significantly affected my experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in a busy area with plenty of nightlife, restaurants, and shopping options, making it quite convenient for exploring the city. However, the safety of the immediate surroundings raised some concerns.
Dining
5.0
The complimentary breakfast was misleading and not truly free, which was disappointing. The selection was limited, and I felt it didn't provide good value for the price of my stay.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt outdated, and the parking situation was confusing. The hotel advertised amenities like a bar, but it was closed before the stated time, and staff did not seem trained to help navigate the hotel's layout.

My stay at Aloft Charlotte City Center was far from ideal. while the location was fantastic for exploring downtown, the service and room quality left much to be desired. I encountered multiple issues at check-in and faced loud noise disturbances throughout the night, which made getting rest quite challenging. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance issues overshadowed the contemporary vibe of the hotel.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was worn, and I noticed soap on the floor upon arrival. it felt more cheap than modern. Additionally, during a previous stay, the adjacent room had poor noise isolation, making it hard to sleep.
Service
5.0
Check-in was frustrating due to inattentive staff. I faced billing errors that took multiple calls to resolve. While the staff did try to handle complaints, it didn't elevate my experience much.
Location
8.0
Being right in the Epicenter was a plus. I loved having many restaurants and entertainment options within walking distance, which made exploring Charlotte easy.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were quite limited. I had hoped for more variety beyond sandwiches or oatmeal. It wasn't included in my stay, which was disappointing.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had essential amenities but seemed to lack attention to detail. housekeeping didn't clean my room regularly, which contributed to a less pleasant experience.
